Morocco is full of many surprises. It is only a short flight away but it is a stark contrast to life at home. With its intoxicating and heady blend of Arab, Berber, European and African influences, you will immediately be transported to another exotic world, making it one of our firm favourites.
Tribal Tracks will take you on a unique adventure that will offer experiences and opportunities that few travellers get to enjoy. Your group travel to Morocco can be a combination of culture, relaxation, adventure in the mountains, helping the local communities or simply a weekend getaway. All are perfect incentives for your team, or a great group travel trip.
Marrakech, known as the Red City, is where the old meets new with the dusky pink walls of the old town hiding stunning historical sights. We can safely say Marrakech is far from predictable, with mind boggling distractions of ancient cobbled streets, snake charmers, heavily laden donkey carts, acrobatic performers and the hustle and bustle of the bazaars. You can explore the traditional Souks and try your bartering skills for carpets, slippers or local spices.
The Riads of Marrakech are worth a mention in their own right. Minutes away from the main square of Jemaa El Fnaa are the luxurious Riads where our groups will stay. A simple door in a wall hides a Tardis-like oasis of calm, with traditional furnishings and trickling pools and fountains.
The Atlas Mountains are a short drive from Marrakech, and are a wonderful destination for any group travel to Morocco. Challenge your tribe to climb Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, and soak up the views of the Sahara from the summit, or try a more gentle trek through the beautiful foothills.
Venture into the Sahara desert and follow the paths of ancients tribes, camping under the endless stars. Accompanied by Berber nomads, this is a truly amazing highlight of Morocco.
Away from the tourist resorts, the coast of Morocco is a hidden gem. Essaouira is an enchanting town on the Atlantic coast, and is the perfect place to round off one of our trips. The town’s name means ‘little picture’ in Arabic, and it certainly lives up to its name. Its vibrant blue-and-white inner walled city is enclosed by fairy-tale, sand-coloured ramparts and majestic stone gates, and is a perfect place to explore. Here your group can also enjoy the rolling waves and a wide sandy beach that stretches for as far as the eye can see.
Immerse yourself in village life, learn about Berber culture and give back to the community on one of our project based trips. Perfect for team building travel.
Our group travel trips to Morocco are always exceptional, making Morocco one of our favourite destinations.
