Get to know Nepal – a project based approach

Wherever we travel with our groups, we want, as a mark of respect, to give back to the communities we visit.  Following the Nepal earthquake in 2015, there are many communities that need the simplest of support that will ultimately make day to day life more comfortable. While we can’t change the world, we can certainly take little steps which ultimately improve lives.  We work directly with the villages and ask them what is needed, ensuring that we are giving the right support. Projects can range from building washrooms to erecting fences to control livestock. This is the perfect team building and bonding opportunity for any group or incentive travel trip, to roll your sleeves up, get stuck in and really get under the skin of these fascinating communities. The project can easily be incorporated, or sandwiched with other experiences.

Sample itinerary:

Days 1 – 2 – Arrive Kathmandu, and be guided through the hot spots of this vibrant city, really getting to know it.

Days 3 – 6 – Undertake your community project, gaining entirely new perspectives on the challenges the villagers face, as well as your own life.
