Soaring peaks.  Grassy meadows. Cool, glacial lakes. Sweeping pine forests. Fascinating culture and history.

Welcome to the setting for the fourth adventure in the Maggie’s Adventure Series…a spectacular trek in a little-known corner of the Balkans, especially created by Tribal Tracks.

Named ‘the Bosnia Belter’, this seven-day adventure packs a punch, taking you off the beaten track to see the very best of the Via Dinarica, a long distance ‘mega trail’ that extends from Albania to Slovenia and an area yet to be discovered by many hikers. On this adventure we will trek through spectacular limestone peaks and glacial lakes, scale three amazing 2000m plus peaks, have a ‘seven summit’ day, see amazing views and colourful wildflowers, quaint, medieval villages and experience a gracious and welcoming culture.

We finish in Sarajevo, Bosnia's capital city which hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics. Sarajevo offers an ancient mix of European and Near Eastern culture and living history.
