Situated on the equator, the East African country of Kenya's highest peak is Mount Kenya (5199m), the second highest mountain in Africa. Lying at its foot is the Ol Pejeta Natural Conservancy, Africa's leading and pioneering conservation reserve. Covering 36,420 hectares, Ol Pejeta provides a haven for endangered animals and is home to the last two northern white rhino on Earth.
